All righty, now that My Forbidden Dress Week is over, I am back to trying out my new and new-to-me items to see if they will stay in my wardrobe. But I'm done with the danged voting polls - too much hassle.
So, today is the olive suede Danier skirt, thrifted here in January 2013 for $28.50 (same WIN boutique as yesterday - not exactly thrift prices for leather and suede!).Although I do have an olive skirt already (this one), it's a much lighter shade and a different shape. Oh, wait, I also have an olive suede maxi skirt (this one) - totally not the same, though! I think an olive skirt is an essential neutral (obviously, heh).
I was good with the skirt today, although with bare legs, I had to remember to pull it down to my knees when I sat. The waist is quite high (above the beltline there), but I don't mind that (it keeps all the wobbly bits stable).
The leopard cardigan was last seen in the June 2012 all-neutral capsule (recap here), where I wore it 3 times. Today, it's layered over a yellow cami-style top.
After playing Ultimate on Saturday, I am walking sore today. I had to do flats, these easy black kitten heels (last seen in the 2nd outfit here a couple of weekends ago, with my coral skirt). Ah...
In addition to the black shiny belt over the cardigan, here's the stuff:
Shiny! Caw!
That's my grandmother's jet necklace.
Cardigan (XXI, consignment), top (Ricki's, consignment), skirt (Danier, thrifted), shoes (Enzo Angiolini, thrifted), necklace (vintage 50s, Grandma J), earrings (The Cobbler), cuff (gift from Mom).
